Guilty By Association
Like sharks smelling blood in the water, the fake news media are in another full-blown feeding frenzy. This time it’s over reports that Attorney General Pam Bondi told President Trump in May that his name is in the Epstein files.
Trump-hating media hacks know exactly what they are doing. They want the average person to read the headline about Trump and Epstein and then jump to the conclusion that Trump was on the island and that’s why the administration won’t release the “Epstein files.”
What is being ignored in almost every report on this “breaking news” is that Justice Department officials determined there was “unverified hearsay about many people . . . who had socialized with Epstein in the past.” The documents reportedly “contain hundreds of other names.”
The fact that a name is mentioned in the files means nothing. That is not proof of guilt. But very real concerns of “convicting” innocent people on the “charge” of guilt by association in the court of public opinion are why there has been resistance to publishing the files.
According to Alan Dershowitz, Epstein’s former lawyer, and others, there is no Epstein client list. The “Epstein files” are made up of FBI interviews and transcripts of court proceedings.
Think about everyone you know—all of your online contacts, every phone call you have received and made, your Christmas card list, etc. If you lumped all those together, that’s essentially what the media are calling “the Epstein files.”
I’ve got names of all kinds of leftists and Marxists in my “files.” I’ve done research on them. I’ve debated them. I’ve attacked them and responded to their attacks on me. If my name happens to be in their “files,” that doesn’t mean I’m a communist!
Unfortunately, the president’s enemies and their media co-conspirators are turning this into another Russia collusion hoax. They are using it to damage Trump and distract you from his accomplishments and other serious stories. (See below.)
In related news:
- Justice Department officials are reportedly meeting today with Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.
- A House Oversight subcommittee voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton to testify about their relationship with Epstein. The subcommittee also voted to subpoena the Justice Department for the Epstein files.
- An Obama-appointed federal judge in Florida rejected the Justice Department’s request to release grand jury transcripts related to the Epstein case. That’s not Donald Trump blocking their release. A Democrat judge is blocking their release.
Obamagate Blackout
Over the past week, there have been several shocking revelations exposing the Deep State’s subversion of “our democracy.” I’ve covered these revelations in previous reports, but here’s a quick reminder:
- Former CIA Director John Brennan’s perjury about the Steele dossier.
- The FBI giving Hillary a free pass on mishandling classified material, while investigating Donald Trump based on a known hoax.
- Obama ordering a new intelligence assessment to frame Donald Trump as “Putin’s puppet.”
- A House Intelligence Committee report finding the intelligence used in that assessment to be “substandard,” leading to an “implausible—if not ridiculous” conclusion.
But if you’re watching the “mainstream media,” you probably won’t know about any of that.
For example, ABC and NBC News completely ignored Tulsi Gabbard’s incredible press conference yesterday exposing the Russia collusion narrative as a complete hoax and Barack Obama’s role in instigating it.
CBS News briefly mentioned it but only to dismiss it, while CNN cut away from her press conference to prevent what few viewers they have left from knowing the truth.
While the fake news media are doing their best to ignore the Deep State’s corruption, the Justice Department is not. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the formation of a “strike force” to ensure that “no stone [is] unturned” in this critical effort to “deliver justice.”
We must be absolutely clear: This isn’t about “settling scores” or “revenge.” It’s about rooting out corruption, holding officials responsible for their abuse of power, and, most importantly, defending our constitutional Republic from the Deep State.
Holding Academia Accountable
One of President Trump’s remarkable successes is his effort to hold left-wing academia accountable for a variety of failures. Here’s the latest.
Columbia University, ground zero in the fight against campus antisemitism, has agreed to pay $200 million in fines for failing to secure the rights and physical safety of Jewish students on Columbia’s campus.
In addition, Columbia also agreed to “bring viewpoint diversity to their Middle Eastern studies programs, eliminate race preferences from their hiring and admissions practices, and end DEI programs.”
The Trump Education Department has gone after multiple universities for antisemitism, DEI discrimination, suspicious foreign funding, and radical transgender policies that discriminate against female athletes.
In addition, the Education Department just launched investigations into five universities for discriminating against American citizens. The University of Louisville, the University of Nebraska Omaha, the University of Miami, the University of Michigan, and Western Michigan University all offer scholarships only to DACA students, who are illegal aliens.
As a result, they are likely violating Title VI laws that ban discrimination based on national origin by creating scholarships that exclude American citizens.
The Stupid Party
Some Republican politicians are doing their best to sabotage the GOP and earn the nickname “The Stupid Party.” After an election dominated by concerns about illegal immigration and border security, it would be a really stupid thing to start pushing amnesty for illegal aliens.
But that’s exactly what some Republicans are doing. They may think it is a good idea, but the American people do not.
One recent survey found that 77% of likely voters said “it is neither fair nor right” to give amnesty to some illegal aliens. Only 13% said it was fair and right.
The survey also found that 56% of voters supported removing illegal aliens from the country “regardless of what additional crimes they may or may not have committed.” Just 34% disagreed.
Here’s a warning to the GOP’s amnesty wing: 79% of Republican voters support deporting all illegal aliens from the United States. In addition, 52% of swing voters and a sizeable number of Democrats (33%) support deporting illegal aliens who are not convicted or accused of crimes.
The survey also asked about election integrity laws. It found that 83% of voters support requiring proof of citizenship in order to register to vote, and 79% said voters should be required to provide identification when voting.
A Rasmussen poll found that 72% of voters believe it is important to make sure illegal aliens are not using government benefits such as food stamps and Medicaid.
The latest Harvard/Harris poll found that 65% of voters oppose sanctuary city policies, including a majority (52%) of Democrats. Under pressure from the Trump administration, Louisville, Kentucky, is reversing its status as a sanctuary city. Let’s hope it’s the start of a trend.
Putting America First
The New York Times is predictably horrified over President Trump’s latest action to put America first. He has instructed the National Park Service to remove signs and displays that “inappropriately disparage” our country, and he set a deadline of September 17th—Constitution Day.
A former superintendent of Yellowstone National Park suggested this was an attempt by the Trump administration to hide real American history. No. The administration’s goal is to showcase the “progress of the American people” and the “grandeur of the American landscape,” instead of messages that essentially say, “Look how evil we have been.”
Teddy Roosevelt, the “conservation president” and avid outdoorsman, doubled the number of national parks. He would never have tolerated displays of woke anti-Americanism. The National Park Service was created so families could enjoy the great outdoors and feel proud of America.
This may seem like a minor issue, but it is part of the real battle to define America. We have suffered through decades of leftist denigration of our country. That’s why patriotism among our youth is so low.
The Left wants a demoralized and depressed population that only cares about what government can give them. Any thought of pride in our country must be smashed.
That’s why leftists vandalized, tore down, and decapitated statues of America’s heroes throughout 2020. That’s why Democrats were so furious when American soldiers marched in our capital on the 250th anniversary of the United States Army.
