Trump’s Busy Night
I have often remarked that President Trump crams 36 hours into every 24-hour day. Yesterday was a prime example. While many people clock out around 5:00 PM, Trump is working well into the night -- unlike Biden, who was in bed by 8:00! (At American Values, we work around the clock!)
In reaction to the vicious antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado -- carried out by an illegal alien and radical Islamist -- President Trump issued an order imposing travel restrictions on 19 countries.
Full travel bans were imposed on individuals coming from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
Partial travel bans were imposed on Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
President Trump also ratcheted up the pressure on Harvard University, which refuses to seriously address antisemitism on its campus or comply with administration requests. Trump banned Harvard from accepting foreign students.
Of course, these actions will be attacked by left-wing, activist federal district court judges who are trying by their actions to “reverse” our victory in the 2024 election.
By the way, Harvard has become known as a top “party school,” and I don’t mean frat parties. It is the preferred American university for students and officials connected to the Chinese Communist Party.
President Trump also ordered the Justice Department to launch a formal investigation into the use of Joe Biden’s autopen. He specifically wants to know “whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities” of the president.
Trump said, as I have been saying, “This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history.”
Stop The Stupidity!
The fake news media quickly moved on from the horrific antisemitic attack in Boulder, after realizing they couldn’t blame it on a “white male.” Liberal commentators and leftist politicians refused to call the attack “terrorism,” and they certainly will not call it “Islamic terrorism.”
Well, our friends at the Middle East Media Research Institute did some real journalism and translated the chilling video Mohamed Sabry Soliman recorded before his attack. Here’s what he said:
“If I told my wife and son every day to do something, but they didn’t do it, I would be angry. Maybe I would divorce my wife. . . Then what about Allah, who says to us every day, dozens of times: ‘Allah Akbar.’ Do not forget: Allah Akbar. Do not forget that Allah is greater than everything. Not the Zionists, America, Britain, France, or Germany. . .
“I say to my mother, my wife, my children, my brothers, my people: I attest before Allah and before you that Allah, His Messenger, and Jihad for Allah’s sake are more beloved to me than you and the whole world are.”
Gee, I can see why some people are confused about the attacker’s motivation . . . NOT!
But it’s clear Soliman was not confused about what Allah demanded of him.
In related news, a federal district court judge has blocked the Trump administration from deporting this jihadist’s family. They overstayed their visas! They are illegal aliens!
What’s next? Will some district court judge order Soliman’s Jewish victims to be relit? What these judges are doing is making it more likely that Jews will be hunted, killed, and forced into hiding in the United States of America.
House Democrat Leader Declares War On Immigration Police
House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries hit a new low this week. He told reporters:
“Every single ICE agent who is . . . trying to hide their identities . . . will be unsuccessful. . . Every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will of course be identified. We’re going to make sure that the American people have the transparency necessary to hold people accountable.”
So, the leader of House Democrats is promising to expose the identities of federal immigration police who are currently being threatened, along with their families, by the radical, revolutionary Left. to hold them “accountable.” For what? Enforcing the laws that Congress passed?
Jeffries is promising to put the lives of our brave immigration police in jeopardy because he cares more about illegal aliens than he does about the brave men and women who are risking their lives every day.
“Very Disappointed”
I have been ecstatic about the alliance between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. But it is depressing to see that alliance melting down.
President Trump today said he was “very disappointed” by Musk’s sudden and vociferous opposition to the Big Beautiful Bill. Musk is now urging his followers to lobby their members of Congress to vote “No” on the bill.
Every Democrat is already going to vote “No.” These are the same Democrats who have smeared Musk and tried to destroy his companies. I would think that would give him reason to pause before allying with the Left to kill Trump’s agenda.
Let’s be clear about the political dynamics:
- This is a “reconciliation bill.” Such bills cannot be filibustered. The downside is there are very strict and complex parliamentary rules restricting what can be included in the legislation.
- Republicans have a four-seat majority in the House.
- Roughly a dozen House Republicans are really hardline on spending cuts, and I appreciate that.
- But there are also a number of Republicans in districts Joe Biden won in 2024 who need some things in the bill, or they’re going to lose their seats, possibly costing the GOP its majority.
- On the other side of Capitol Hill, several Republican senators, including liberal Susan Collins and conservative Josh Hawley, don’t want any cuts in Medicaid.
- But we also have senators like Ron Johnson and Rand Paul who want even more cuts to Medicaid.
Surely Elon Musk understands that if the bill does not pass, the country is headed for a serious recession because American families will be hit with a $1,700 tax increase. Small businesses will take a big hit, too.
This bill provides complete funding for the border wall, additional border security, and funding for immigration enforcement. If the bill is defeated, President Trump cannot fulfill the number one promise he made in 2024.
Elon Musk is brilliant, but I suspect he may not fully understand the arcane rules of the United States Congress.
The Numbers Game
There are a lot of numbers being thrown around in discussions about Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. Every media outlet, including the so-called “capitalist” outlet, CNBC, hyped the latest Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report trying to kill the bill. The report claims Trump’s tax cuts will add $2.4 trillion to the national debt.
There are plenty of reasons to be skeptical of the CBO’s numbers. It has a history of completely missing the mark, and its Obamacare projections were way off. We often can’t even get accurate unemployment figures for the past 30 days.
Trying to predict what the economy will look like in ten years is like trying to predict the weather in ten years. And Democrats are terrible at that, too!
At the same time, most of the media ignored another CBO report. This one predicted that a major Trump initiative will reduce the deficit by $2.8 trillion over ten years. Guess what that initiative is – it’s called tariffs.
So, the CBO just released two reports concluding, when taken together, that President Trump’s economic agenda will reduce deficits by $400 billion.
Conservatives Win Big
It was a good day at the Supreme Court. Conservatives won cases involving the Second Amendment, religious liberty, and a reverse-discrimination case brought by a woman who was denied a promotion by a homosexual boss because she was heterosexual.
Incredibly, all three cases were decided unanimously – 9 to 0 – in our favor. Even the liberals went along.
- Mexico cannot sue gun manufacturer Smith & Wesson.
- Wisconsin cannot discriminate against Catholic Charities.
- Ohio cannot discriminate against heterosexuals or “majority groups.”
I know how frustrated we all get sometimes when one of our justices wanders off the reservation. I can only imagine how the Left is feeling today!
Don’t Worry
There are a lot of things to worry about domestically and internationally. But one thing you don’t have to worry about this month is waking up to the news that Donald Trump and J.D. Vance opened up the White House to radical LGBTQ activists to celebrate “Pride.”
That’s exactly what Joe Biden did. The result was a national embarrassment after transgender activists pranced around the White House lawn exposing their fake breast implants and surgical scars from having their breasts removed – all under their prideful flag of debauchery.
You also won’t see a White House proclamation celebrating “Pride Month.” In the meantime, many of us are suggesting other options we can all take pride in to celebrate in June – “Family Pride Month,” “Military Pride Month, “Veterans Pride Month,” or “Pro-Life Pride Month.”
And kudos to Secretary of Education Linda McMahon! The Department of Education is recognizing June as “Title IX Month” – celebrating real female athletes and their achievements.
